Firstly you will need to down load sinedots first filter Go here to down load it you will also need Flaming pears Silver filter you can down load it by clicking here open a transparent image 400x600 flood fill with black ...open sinedots and use these settings


first promote to layer by right clicking on background in layer palet .....ok now go to Effects to reflection Effects and thent to Kaleidoscope...use these settings


you can colorize now if you want to by going to color then to colorize ....


ok now lets go to geometric effects then to circle as shown below



using the magic wand lets get these ants marching around the out side of your circle so we can use the silver filter on it

use these settings


click in the middle of the of the image in the grey bit with the magic wand using these settings


now lets to selections then to modify then to expand


expan 6 then click ok ...then cut out with the sissors ,your image shoud look like this now ...you can colorize it as we did b4 if you wish ... or you could try playing with color 2 in silver to change the whole look of the frame ....


ok at this point you can save as psp or tube that way you have the image to use again and again

to use it copy the original and paste as a new layer on the pic you are wanting to use it on use the deformation tool to drag out or in depending on the size of the pic


you will now have 2 layers .....layer 1 or the background should be the pic you want to frame ,and layer 2 is the frame ,ok with that said ...make the frame or layer 2 the active layer ...

.use the magic wand on the out side of the frame layer and there should be martching ants on the out side of the frame as well as the outside edge of the frame layer ok now make the layer 1 or background layer the active layer and using the sissor tool cut out the excess pic ,the bit of the pic thats out side of the frame ...

now as I have no idea how to save a gif file with a transparent background I cheat I merge both layers then save as psp file then launch jasc animation shop and using the wizard I open my pic in animation shop and sav as a gif file from here as it saves it transparent from here
