As my Buick is yet to be restored I'll need a place to restore it so this page will show the progress of building my new shed so I can start restoration.
My wife & myself have purchased 20 acres of land just outside Bendigo, Victoria , and intend to build on this land sometime in the future but the most important part "The Shed" is about to begin and of course it's the future home of "Bett the Buick""
30/06/05 - Shed site before gravel "pad", the pile of crushed rock was dumped as part of the driveway extension to shed site, also the ground was too soft for the tipper to go any further so I'll have to get a "bobcat" in to spread the next two loads.
Our little workhorse is almost an antique, Maybe it will get a restoration after the Buick........
Before we can build a shed we need to have access to it so these above photos show the driveway before we purchased "Fergus" (our Ferguson tractor) and also when we started to grade the driveway to the shed (and future house site).
The driveway is slowly getting there and in June 2005 we had some crushed rock delivered and spread over driveway once the top soil was removed. (right)
30/06/05 - The last part of the driveway up to the shed site spread with crushed rock, just need to get "Fergus" (tractor) out to level it off. We have had some good rain finally so hopefully the driveway will settle and pack in hard.
July 2005 - Spread more loads of crushed rock over shed site , just have to wait for the shed to arrive.
26 July - Our 18mx9mx3.6 (60ftx30x12) shed from Steel and Stuff has finally arrived.
22 August 2005 - Holes drilled for foundations, 18 holes all up.
Nearly There
Roof Finished
